Why would anyone install a sink where the only way to access the plumbing is to cut away the silicone, pull the worktop off whilst trying not to damage anything. in short this was the cheapest solution for the developer was to bang the ensuite in as fast as possible.
So we installed an inspection hatch for the client that allowed us to access the plumbing to change the waste trap and now if the customer wishes to change the taps in the future they can easily do so now.
