Pointing

As a property gets older or a client lets climbing plants grow then the mortar fails and will need re-pointing to improve the aesthetics of a property or even prevent any potential structural issues.

Chimney Repoint

A straight forward job where the bulk of the costs were in the scaffolding to reach the chimney.

Lime Mortar

for those older properties where the walls are a "Solid" type construction then a lime mortar is used to ensure the wall can breathe and has a higher level of flexibility over a standard cement mortar.

Failed Flashing

This is a common issue affecting properties but the client only becomes aware when the driving rain travels down the chimney stack and into the rooms below.

We resolve this by installing new lead flashing or re-dressing the old lead.

Gable End

The gable end is the largest wall on a property and often is the most exposed to the weather and so we grind out the old mortar and install new mortar specific to the brick type and hardness.
